I grew up in a big family in the Philippines, and I’ve always known I wanted kids. As far back as I can remember, I imagined having at least three.
But as life goes, we don’t always get what we want.
Even after 18 years of marriage, we’ve struggled with this but we’re holding on to hope and know that miracles can come in unexpected forms.
Still, I went through all the stages of grief, from denial, to blaming, anger then deep sadness.

Over time, I found peace. The moment I truly felt at peace was when someone told me,

Program Structure and Commitment
- The program runs for 36 weeks starting the week of January 27,2025 until the week of December 8, 2025.
- No sessions on the week of:
March 24 - 28 (Spring Break)
July 1 - August 15 (Summer Break)
November 24 - 28 (Thanksgiving Break)
December 15 - 31 (Holiday Break)
Additionally, there will be no sessions if your session falls on Monday 5/26 (Memorial Day), Monday 9/1 (Labor Day) and Friday 10/31 (Halloween)
- Sessions are held once a week, with a total of 36 sessions throughout the year. Holidays such as Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Halloween are already factored into the schedule, so you’ll still receive the full 36 sessions for the year, even if your class falls on one of these dates.
- Sessions are 40 Minutes for Groups of 3, and 55 minutes for groups of 4 - 5
- 3 to 5 students per group. There’s a max of 5 students per group.
- I only teach on Mondays - Thursdays. Sessions can be scheduled throughout the day between those days.
There are no lessons on Fridays - Sundays.
Once your child is enrolled, I will group them with other students who share similar availability. Together, we’ll coordinate to find a day and time that works best for you, within the flexibility of my teaching schedule.
- I’m committed to working with you to find a schedule that fits you and your child’s needs. If we’re unable to agree on a suitable time, I’ll issue a full refund for the program.
Rest assured, with 5 years of experience teaching online piano lessons to hundreds of students across various time zones and different schedule demands—while only teaching 4 days a week—I’ve always been able to accommodate everyone.
- Because sessions are held in a group setting, the schedule we decide on will remain the same day and time each week for the entire year. Consistency is key—not just for maintaining the group dynamic, but also for helping kids build important life skills more effectively.
With that in mind, I encourage you to prioritize this commitment in your child’s schedule. It’s only for 36 weeks, and this consistency will create a stable foundation for their growth and learning.
- Regardless of age or skill level, everyone will begin with our foundational curriculum. We believe the lessons taught at this level are crucial for building mindset and life skills. The group will always offer a balanced mix of ages and skill levels.
- About an hour per week for the life skills activity.
However it’s worth noting that the life skills they’ll learn will naturally be put to test as they go through their everyday life, so really, this is an ongoing 24-7 process.
About 10 - 20 minutes per day for movement and piano practice (which is essentially also putting life skills into practice)
- We’ve got the best of both worlds! There’s a weekly live session to keep things interactive and connected, but everything’s recorded, so your child can revisit lessons and go at their own pace when needed.
However, the recording is not designed to take the place of the LIVE session. It is important that students attend the LIVE sessions regularly.
- We find that following a set curriculum is the best way to effectively teach your child because the life skills as well as the movement and music skills build on top of each other.
However, the real life application component of the coaching program will always be tailored and personalized so your kids have the tools they need today to thrive in their daily lives.
- All materials are included and you will get access to a tool that gives you weekly lesson notes and guides. ***You’ll need your own piano/keyboard at home to participate.***
Questions on Curriculum and Levels
- The Simply Music method we use in the piano component of the program is truly one-of-a-kind and very different from traditional methods. Even if your child already has experience in piano, this approach can offer a fresh perspective, enhancing their creativity and helping them advance their skills in ways they might not have encountered before.
But this program is about so much more than piano. It’s designed to teach your child critical life skills like confidence, commitment, and leadership—all through the lens of music and creativity. These are skills that will benefit them far beyond the piano and stay with them for life.
If continuing with their current piano lessons is a priority for you, I completely understand.
However, I encourage you to consider giving this program a try for just one year. Your child will gain invaluable life coaching while still building on their musical foundation. Afterward, they can always return to their previous piano lessons with a stronger sense of purpose and creativity—and a whole new set of skills to help them thrive.
- The movement component of our S.M.A.R.T. learning method is NOT a dance class. Instead, it’s a series of movement exercises designed to combine physical activity with brain training. Each exercise is carefully crafted to enhance cognitive function and boost your child’s brain productivity.
No dance experience is needed, and your child doesn’t have to enjoy dancing to benefit from these activities.
